What do you mean by "large" files ? For MS Office documents, it can be 100MB. For videos, it can be 1GB. Or it could be more : http://www.nuxeo.com/en/customers/electronic-arts

I tried recently to upload 5GB (4 * 1,2GB) in the Nuxeo DM web UI, on a LAN instance. No problem. NB: Adapt the size of your Nuxeo temp dir (where files are uploaded before Nuxeo integrate them in the binaries folder)

10GB file! Nuxeo add files in a TMP directory ? Where is this tmp directory ?

Google "nuxeo tmp directory".

And of course you can override location of the tmp directory, which I would recommend, especially for DAM which creates many temp files.

For me the bulk importer (or at least a custom version of the bulk importer) is the best way to import multiple files when those files are 1GB + in size. Running these imports though the browser in the middle of the day in a busy office may work, but you better have very patient users :-)
