Hard drive access request for Nuxeo Drive ?

Hi to the community,

I have tested on computers on Windows to test Nuxeo Drive. They all told me that a small window appeared from time to time in order to ask the user for access to the hard disks to make changes. Being a medical company, the data is confidential. What can this cause? Is this normal for Windows? Do I have to trust?

The worry is that this window continues to appear several times a day. Would not there be a way to say “No” and what are the consequences of saying yes or no?

Thank you for your answers.

ANSWER

Thank you for your reply.

Here is the attached photo of the window. As it is in French, I translate: “Do you want to allow this application from an unknown editor to make changes to your computer?”

The second picture is the detail of the request. The synchronized folder is in the default folder: C: \ Program Files (x86)

Hello,

Do you have a screen shot?

Where is the synchronized folder? If it is on a part of a drive that is not public or at the root of the C drive, it could ask for permissions when chaging contents of these folders. It is a normal behavior based on the Windows security settings. Ideally, each user select a folder that is inside its personnal folders, by default My documents\Nuxeo Drive.

If you can give more informations to help, it would be great.
