Start Nuxeo 7 in Windows

Hello!

Dear I downloaded the Nuxeo 7 zip file unzipped in D: \ Nuxeo, my PC has the Java 7:08 and therefore I created the variable JAVA_HOME pointing to the Java 8. When you start Nuxeo nothing happens because a message indicates that the java 8 was however found who is in use is the 7, how to proceed?

Hi,

What value did you give to the JAVA_HOME variable? If you modify your environment variable, the change will be globally take into account after restart. Otherwise only new prompt command will read the new value. Which may explain why Java 7 is still detected.

Could you please paste the exact output from the terminal as well as the output for "nuxeoctl.bat showconf"? Note you should also be able to set JAVA_HOME in nuxeo.conf.

Hello!

So I first created a variable of JAVA_HOME on windows pointing to the folder where the Java 8 C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre8 It did not work, so I opened and changed the nuxeo.conf file, the uncommented # for JAVA_HOME.

I notice the message that .bat that is found Java 8 more not understand why if it is does not make use of it, and indicates that whoever is in use is the Java 7

Could you please copy/paste some outputs?

What gives java -version from the command line? If you fix that, you will likely fix Nuxeo in the mean time.
